Brest is a port city that was nearly wiped off the map when the Germans and Americans faced off during WWII. After the war, the United States rebuilt most of the city. Brest’s streets and buildings are more American than European ones. The small community of Quimper is the gem of the area.

Bilbao is a vibrant city in northern Spain known for its modern architecture, delicious cuisine, and the famous Guggenheim Museum. Wine in the Haro hills surrounding Bilbao is a must-do.
